Wow, for some reason I had a tough time with picking out a shape to use for this card. The challenge was shaped cards by Serendipity Stamps #25. But at the end I couldn't resist using Spellbinders circle die and the beautiful Chickadees by Serendipity. The card is the same just different backgrounds.
Have a Merry day!

Good morning, The Shabby Tea Room is having week #195 challenge. The challenge is to create a card or project that is inspired by the photo above and to include a tag. The tag on my card is made with corrugated cardboard painted white and sanded. I used Tag Sale #5 die. I die cut my snowflake with vellum paper using Fancy Flakes die from PTI. Added a scrunchy seam binding bow with a snowflake and some sequins.
Have a great day!

Good morning, I am joining in on two challenges today the first one is The Shabby Tea Room week #194, Christmas is Coming. You need to include red, white and brown.
The second challenge is Festive Fridays and this challenge is the last one of the year. I chose to include a candy cane on my project.

Good morning, This week's technique for Festive Friday is to do a project that includes a wreath. Papertrey also has a challenge #138 inlaid die cuts. I started with tag sale #4 die and stamped with versamark a pinecone from Peaceful Pinecones stamp set in a circle to make a wreath and used white embossing powder on top. I die cut using the One Lines Die the word Joy and inlaid it in the red plaid paper on the lower half of the card. Also using the Holly Jolly Die with some red bling.
Below are some close-up shots.
Have a great day!

This card is for Papertrey's Make it Monday #138 Inlaid Die Cuts Challenge. I love this challenge. I have seen this done a lot and have always wanted to try it and Betsy has made it easy.
I used the rustic wreath die and did the inlay on the outside of the wreath only. I embossed in white, used copics and glitter. The Confetti Garland on the bottom of the card is also inlaid. Using pure poppy ink I stamped the Polka Dot Parade tree on kraft card stock placing it in the center of the wreath.
Have a nice day!

Hello everyone, I always want to play along with Papertrey Ink, Make-it-Monday challenge but don't always find the time. I guess today is my lucky day. The challenge was watercoloring embossed images with Heather #111. I have started to rethink on how much I want to put onto my card or how much I want to pay for postage. Last month release helped me change things a bit, that was a great release for me. I have started to make simpler cards. I have always loved all the buttons, bows, pearls, lace everything on the cards but now that I have changed, things got a lot easier. The cards don't take as long to make, I don't have to worry about how bulky the card is for postage. It does feel a little plain but it is growing on me.
I started out with the stamp set by Maile called Birthday Style. I embossed the bubbles with white embossing powder and used Hibiscus Burst and Harvest Gold ink for a watercolor effect. I die cut the banner and again by Maile used the Bountiful Banners stamp set.
Have a really great day and I wish for warmer weather for everyone!

Hello, Serendipity is having a challenge. The challenge is ANYTHING GOES, SSCB#6. Choose a favorite Serendipity stamp and design a card or project. With Easter coming soon, I decided to use the Chick w/Tulip stamp. This baby chick is so sweet! I left him uncolored to have him stand out from the background. The sentiment is also from Serendipity. Stop by their blog and check out the challenge.
Have a good night. We just got dumped on about 12 to 14 inches of snow! Spring where are you when I need you.
