Long pigtails? OR Long ponytails?

Image
Good morning, It is that time of the week, Wednesday's sketch challenge over at My Favorite Things.  Here is my card for the MFTWSC17 challenge.  I used the stamp set called being cute is what I do by MFT and flower fusion #1 by Papertrey.  This time I lengthened her hair with the pigtails, as shown below.  I also used My Mind's eye paper, no mistake there.  Paper pieced her clothes, used sticklers on the flower on her shirt, copics, some sewing and added a pearl on top of the bow.  The bow I used seam binding and dyed it myself.  I hope all of you take time out to try this sketch, it was fun!  Have a great day! Nancy

Mom I want longer hair!!!

Hello everyone, It is time for the Wednesday stamp challenge over at My Favorite Things.   Check it out!!   I started out with the stamp set Out On a Limb. Stamped her on a spellbinders circle and paper pieced her dress.  I used copic markers, but what is so EXCITING is I gave her LONGER HAIR, below you can see that I extended the black lines in her brown hair.  Isn't that adorable? She looks just a little bit older. A little more sophisticated.  Oh she is so sweet!!  My Minds Eye is the designer paper that I choose and the flower is from Stamping Up.  A little stitching and some pretty buttons.  Oh don't forget to check out that bird by her feet, tweet tweet!! Have a great day!! Nancy

Vintage style

Good morning, The stamps I used are from Papertrey called  signature series dress form. This set was so much fun!  Below I embossed the dress using my cuttlebug and placed this rhinestone and pearl flower on top.  The next card I added pearls around the neck-line and buttons.  The  edger#2 die   makes a pretty lacey accent, which is also from Papertrey.  I would like to leave you with some inspiration.  Remember that every day we have the power to bless someone's life by word if not by deed.  Enjoy your day, Nancy

Alphabet letters framed

Good morning, Papertrey just had there fun release of new stamp sets and dies.  On Besty Veldman blog she used the new alpha-blocks and create this vintage printing press block framed art piece.  I loved it, she is so creative. So this is my take...... I did not have those same block so I used alphabet antiques upper from SU.  I cut out one inch by one inch colored paper and stamped them using frost white ink, then used clear embossing powder.  To give them different heights I cut one inch by one inch cardboard pieces, some I put two pieces, some one piece and the rest I didn't put any underneath.  I glued the piece together and used black card stock as the base, I also used a line designer paper under that, then framed it.  Thanks Besty for the inspiration! Have a super day! Nancy

Hello everyone,  I received some goodies today from MFT, and I could not wait to use them!!!  This card I made for the Wednesday stamp club, using the sketch above - MFTWSC13.  One of the goodies I received and could not wait to open was out on a limb from the pure innocence collection.  This little girl so so adorable, I cut her out and paper pieced her dress then added pearls across her chest.  I used copic markers for the rest of her.  This lovely flower is from Verve stamps, I received this for free just for placing an order, how fun is that!!!  The designer paper is from the paper studio.  Some pretty lace, a pink brad and some stitching complete my card.  I can't wait to use this stamp set again.  You girls have a fantastic day!! Thanks for looking!!  I feel a little lonely with only 3 followers, would you follow me please?  Thanks, I would appreciate it!!! Nancy
