A Happy Anniversary, 2021!

Image
Hello friends! Hope you are all doing well! My mother-in-law's anniversary is coming up so I made a few cards and thought I would share them with you.  I started by stamping Orchid Expressions stamp set on white cardstock using the inks raspberry fizz, amethyst allure, royal velvet, hawaiian shores and tropical teal on the above card. Below is hawaiian shores, tropical teal and royal velvet. After stamping these gorgeous colors I used the Border Bling: Tin Stitched die to add some detail. I cut a vellum heart with the Limitless Layers 2 1/4" hearts die and a white cardstock heart using Limitless Layers: heart stitches die.  The embossed sentiment is from Inside & Out Love stamp set.  I added glitter around the edge of the heart to give it more sparkle. I stamped a few hearts on the inside and the envelope using You Have My Heart stamp set.  All the stamps, inks and dies are by PTI/ITP.  Thanks for stopping by and stay healthy! Nancy

Ink to Paper Challenge, January 2021!

Image
Hello again, friends!  I am joining in on another challenge from Ink to Paper!   The challenge is to create a with love card and the guest designer is Shauna! I choose to use the stamp and die set called Branches of Love.  I used the Border Bling: skinny hearts frames die to frame the vase and branches. On both cards I embossed the sentiment on the background of the card and on the vase, I used a piece of clear cardstock to help me line them up. The inks I used are pale peonies, pure poppy, olive twist and versafine black with clear embossing powder. The hearts are glittered and I added some clear sequins. Thanks for stopping by and stay safe! Nancy

Matthew's 30th birthday, 2021!!!

Image
Hello friends! We celebrated our son, Matthew's 30th birthday! Time goes by so fast!  I used the Sing a Song of Christmas stamp and die set. I do wish that there was a guitar in the set, but no luck with that.  The Border Bling: skinny hearts frames is one of my favorites so I had to use it on this card!  I used it with dark indigo cardstock and the designer paper is from 3 piece suit. Those musical notes are so fun to add as an extra detail on the card and envelope. Below on the inside of the card I added some hearts from You Have My Heart stamp set and I hand wrote a sentiment.  Thanks and stay healthy and safe! Nancy

Create a Valentine card challenge, December 2020!

Image
Hello friends,  I am joining Shauna over at Ink to Paper blog for a challenge.  We are to create a Valentine card! I used the limitless layers 2 1/4" heart die to make the accordion style heart with designer paper. I die cut 8 hearts and glued each side to the one next to it and then attaching it to the card. The embossed sentiment is from you are loved stamp set and the small hearts are from you have my heart stamp and die set. Around the outer edge of the card I used the pierced feature frames rectangle die to add a little more detail. I did try using pearls instead of sequins but the sequins won.  Thanks for stopping by and stay safe! Nancy

Image
Hello everyone, today I am joining in on the challenge over at Ink to Paper's Blog.   The challenge is create your own critter card on Melissa's Fab Friday Feature!!! I started out water coloring the background with spring rain ink, I did some ink splattering with that color and with white craft paint.   I used the Pierced Feature Frames Oval die, the Vintage Lantern stamp and die, In the Meadows die and Christmas Critters stamp and die. Those little mice get me every time, they are so cute! I finished up the card using red stickles on my berries, some glitter on the flame and of course some clear sequins! Also embossing the sentiment with white embossing powder!  Thanks for stopping by, Stay healthy and safe, Nancy

Ink to Paper challenge, create your own warm wishes card, December 2020!

Image
Hello friends, today I am entering the challenge to create your own warm wishes card. The challenge is listed over at Ink to Paper blog, that is where you will find all the details. On my card today I started out with the border bling: twinkle die using soft stone cardstock, over that I placed the pierced feature frame oval die. The vintage lantern stamp set is just gorgeous!  I don't have the die yet (but it is ordered) so I hand cut the images.  I stamped all of the floral images in versamark ink and used shabby green embossing enamel on them.  Stay healthy and hugs to all, Nancy
