Make it Monday

Image
Good morning, I watched the make it Monday video this week and thought I would give it a try.  It is called the Make it Monday #21 Polaroid 2-Step Masking.  The large orange boarder I used two colors, first only orange than night of navy using a sponge dauber.  It reminds me of the sky bursting with color.  I thought I would take two pictures, the orange show up differently on each one and I wanted the rhinestones to shine. Have a wonderful day and thanks for looking! Nancy

Good morning, The weather here is finally getting nice and warm, in the 80's and some 90's coming!!  Love it!!  Although last night we had a lot of mosquito's around here, and yes they did get me.  This Wednesday I am having my first stamping class here.  We are going to be making 3 cards, I am so excited, but very nervous.  It should be a lot of fun!!!  If there are any helpful tips that you would like to pass on please let me know.  This is one of the cards we will be making.  Wish me luck. Here is what I used for the card: Stamps:  Papertrey - garden variety and train tracks Ink:        memento black, close to cocoa, always artichoke and regal rose Paper:    Basic Grey - cappella and a very light pink paper, and old olive Extras:    pearls, lace, seam binding dyed with pretty in pink ink I wish everyone a great day!! Good morning, I hope everyone is having a great week.  Today's card is made with Papertrey's dress form stamp set and die. The designer paper is My Mind's Eye, Hattie Papers collection.  The seam binding I dyed myself using Distress ink, vintage photo.  To finish the card I added pearls and lace.  Thanks for looking and have a great day! Nancy

Have a sweet day!

Hello, Sorry I have not posted for awhile, but my daughter had confirmation and I am still working on my perennials.  But now I am back.  I received in the mail the garden variety stamp set and dies from Papertrey Inc. HURRAY!!!  Love this watering can!!!!  I used the stamp sets, garden variety and train tracks from Papertrey, french script, old world map and glorious gift from SU.  Papertrey has a die for the watering can and I used the button card die also pearls, lace, seam binding and some stitching to finish the card. Thanks so much for looking and have a great day! Nancy
