Well, its in the last hours of the Papertrey Make-it-Monday challenge #194 Sympathy cards and stamped borders. The sun went down so my pictures are not the best. Any recommendations for what kind of light box to get? Anyway the card looks so soft and feminine and soothing! The stamps used are Words of Comfort, Fabulous Frames, Mini Blooms, Birds and Blooms and Fabulous Frames Die.
Melissa did a fabulous challenge!

I used a glass ball and wrapped it with some material that had snowflakes and candy canes on it and used a tiny tags die with the stamps sets called Love Lives Here Holiday and Sparkle and Shine Holiday Additions and also tied a bow with some netting.
Enjoy the blog hop, thanks for looking.

Today is the day for Papertrey's Blog Hop. We are to use non-traditional Christmas colors and start our holiday packaging. This is the color recipe I chose to use first.
The special added touches I did to this card was copics to shade the mug, glitter on the candy canes and sticks, pearls on the bow, clear sequins and pop up dots and twine.
Stamps: Candy Cane Christmas, Bells & Boughs
Ink: Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, Hibiscus Burst, Blueberry Sky, Winter Wisteria and I did use Smokey Shadow for the sentiment.
Paper: Stampers Select, Winter Wisteria and snowflake paper was in my treasures.
Dies: Monthly Moments Journal Card 2, Tag Sale# 8, Candy Cane Christmas and Bells & Boughs.
I couldn't stop at one card, I had to make another.
On this card I made a pocket to add my tag with pearls, buttons, twine, pop-ups and pinking shears and felt.
Stamps: Bells & Boughs
Ink: Hawaiian Shores, New Leaf and Smokey Shadow
Paper: Hawaiian Shores Bitty Dot Pattern, Soft stone cardstock, New Leaf cardstock, Smokey Shadow cardstock and Melissa Francis count down to Christmas paper.
Dies: Holiday Double Cuts, Holly Jolly, Tag Sale # 7 and Bells & Boughs
I loved how the pocket turned out so I made one more card but in the tradition Christmas colors.
The special touches on this card is when I used the Holiday Double Cuts Die I put metallic green paper on the bottom layer and Holy Cow.... what a stunner, this looks so cool!!! It didn't show up very well in the pictures but this is a must do!! Also used felt, button, Christmas decoration, seam binding, lace, twine and a large pearl and pop-ups and pinking shears.
Papers: Stampers Select, Rustic Cream, Metallic green, My Mind's Eye - Joyous, Pink Paisley - Snow Village
Dies: Holiday Double Cuts, Basic Bookmark 2
Enjoy the Blog Hop!!

Hello, I know it has been a long time since I last blogged, but it feels good to be crafting again.
I am entering this for the Make It Monday challenge #184 Gold Dipped Die Cuts by Danielle for Papertrey Ink and The Merry Monday Challenge #13 Silent Night.
I started by dipping the tips of the tree in glitter. The tree die is from the set called In The Meadow. Then I started with the Basic Bookmark 2 Die and stamped the stars from Happy Spooky Halloween with versamark and embossed with white zing. Using spring rain, blueberry sky and enchanted evening inks I blended the colors going up on the bookmark die to have a calm look of the peaceful sky. I also included Rustic Wreath Die and Bells and Boughs Stamp set and Die.
Next, I used the Wine Bottle Tag Die doing the same technique. I think using the blues and white color with the stars is very calming and that was the challenge for Merry Monday, Silent Night.
Here is a close up of the technique, dipping the edges in glitter.
Well it has been a joy stamping again. See you soon.

Good morning :) this card was made for my brother Richard and his wife Marie. They were married 37 years ago, yesterday! Happy Anniversary!
Below I made a few Easter treats to give to some loved ones. Inside the treat box I also made a tag with the bunny on it, and added some chocolates. I wish I would have remember to take a picture of the tags.
I used Papertrey products.
Have a wonderful day!

Hello everyone! Over on Serendipity's blog is a challenge and the challenge is to add sheet music or news print to your project. I just received my owl dies in the mail and couldn't wait to use them. For the solid owl I used my news print pattern paper and white cardstock for the owl that is on top. Just look at all that detail in that owl, it is just gorgeous! For the eyes I used pink sequins and orange enamel dots. I also used pop up dots to raise the owl off the paper.
Have a good night!

Festive Friday's are having there first challenge of the New Year. The above photo is are inspiration piece. What inspired me was of course the red and the barn boards and the wreath hanging above the door. It is hard to see on my card that the wreath is all embossed with Zing, colors are rouge, rose, leaf and white. The wreath comes from the stamp set Birds and Blooms. The sign is also embossed and the stamp set and die is Bountiful Banners and the sentiment is from Peaceful Pinecones.

Hello, Papertrey is having a Make it Monday challenge it is #149 Glitter Embellishments. I used the seed packet die with vellum and heat embossed with Zing rose using the Lace Bouquet stamp set. My glittered embellishments are Wonderful Words Love die and Cupids Arrow die.
I die cut the top of my tag using tag sale #6 leaving the bottom longer so it fit better in the pocket. The love story sentiment is from Sending My Love stamp set and the hearts are from the cover plate hearts die.
My background is a page from a gardening book with Autumn Rose and Simply Chartreuse and Harvest Gold ink rubbed on. One of the things I think I should have done was add some stitching around my background page, next time. :)
This bottom picture is the same except I used Simply Chartreuse paper as a background color instead of Sweet Blush.
Thanks for looking and I love to hear your sweet comments, thank you!
Have a great day!
