Papertrey Ink's Blog Hop for October 2014

Today is the day for Papertrey's Blog Hop .  We are to use non-traditional Christmas colors and start our holiday packaging.  This is the color recipe I chose to use first. The special added touches I did to this card was copics to shade the mug, glitter on the candy canes and sticks, pearls on the bow, clear sequins and pop up dots and twine.                                                                    Supplies used: Stamps:  Candy Cane Christmas,  Bells & Boughs Ink:  Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, Hibiscus Burst, Blueberry Sky, Winter Wisteria and I did use Smokey Shadow for the sentiment. Paper:  Stampers Select, Winter Wisteria and snowflake paper was in my treasures. Dies:  Monthly Moments Journal Card 2, Tag Sale# 8, Candy Cane Christmas and Bells & Boughs. I couldn't stop at one card, I had to make another. On this card I made a pocket to add my tag with pearls, buttons, twine, pop-ups and pinking shears and felt.

A gift....

Next, I used the Wine Bottle Tag Die doing the same technique.  I think using the blues and white color with the stars is very calming and that was the challenge for Merry Monday, Silent Night. Here is a close up of the technique, dipping the ed
