 Hey, I was so happy to be able to play along this month for Papertrey Inc. blog hop!! Faux chalk art how fun!  I chose to use the twig wreath stamp set with autumn adornments and autumn acorns stamp and die. I also had some time to play with Septembers release with Deck the Halls stamp and die. Here I used silver embossing powder on the wreath. Here I used white embossing powder on the wreath and silver for the sentiment. Have a wonderful day, thanks for looking. Nancy

Good morning, here are a few cards that I have been working on.  Hope you enjoy. This one I raised some of the flowers by die cutting a few and gluing them together. Also I used purple twine and stamped the happy birthday right on the card.  The last card is similar to this one with just a few changes. Happy spring everyone! Nancy

Hello, today is Papertrey Ink March Blog hop 2015!  Yes, I am ready for spring and these colors, aqua and yellow feel like spring to me. Although this morning I woke up to a dusting of fresh snow on the ground, it is still very pretty to me. This new stamp set Brushed Blooms was so nice to use, super quick to make a card. Also used Chevron stripes, Inside and Out: Love and You've Been Framed: Oval. The card on the right I used foam tape to raise the blooms and the card on the left I die cut 3 layers and glued them together. Have a great day and enjoy the blog hop. Nancy

Another challenge, Papertrey Ink's 8 year celebration!  This challenge is for day 8 Blue Ombre.  I did the smooshing technique again with spring rain, blueberry sky and enchanted evening ink.  I used Life Is Beautiful stamp set and embossed the butterfly with the color leaf from Zing embossing powder.  The hello is from the Wet Paint Cuts Die.   At our church I do the bulletins every week.  I thought the cover for this week was beautiful with the blue ombre. Hello, Papertrey Ink is still has plenty of challenges going on!!  Day 7 challenge is Heavy Metal.  I used Monthly Moments Journal card 2, Rustic Wreath die and Topiary Trio stamp and die. These last few days have been fun but eagerly wait for the 15th. Have a great day! Nancy

Hello again, I am starting to like posting every day.  Papertrey Ink's 8th Anniversary Celebration, Day 5 Spring into Action challenge.  I decided to give Laura Bassen SMOOSHING technique a try.  The stamp set Ruby Reprise is one that I have not inked until today and actually I used it to emboss the flowers. Oh and I also used Background strips stamp set too.  This SMOOSHING technique has a lot of SMOOSHING going on!!  I love to see how the inks blend together.  I die cut 4 layers of Plum Pudding cardstock  using the Wet Paint Cuts Die and gluing them together. Hello everyone, Papertrey Ink is having lots of challenges.  Today is day 4 and we are to build a bouquet. I chose to use Doodle-Do and Mini Blooms stamp sets and lots of inks! I finally did the masking technique and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Have a great day! Nancy

Papertrey Ink day 3, the challenge is to make a tag with a matching gift bag.  The stamp set used are Watercolor Wonder, Funky Florals, Hey Cupcake and die and Inside and Out Birthday.  Inks are Canyon Clay, Summer sunrise, Hibiscus Burst, Limeade Ice and New Leaf.  On the cupcake frosting I used glossy accents and glitter and on the flame glossy accents. Hello and welcome back, it is day two for Papertrey's 8th Anniversary celebration!  We are celebrating Maile Belles return. Welcome back Maile, happy to see you! I used Maile's stamp set Mini Blooms. Have a GREAT day! Nancy

WOW this is SO exciting, Papertrey Ink is having their 8th year Anniversary!!!!  Day one, their first challenge is to pick a color recipe and a sketch recipe. These are the ones I chose. I started with the tag sale #7 die and used blueberry sky, spring rain, ocean tides and aqua mist  and water colored it and added splatters of water.  The hello is a die from Wet Paint and has 5 layers cut out of smokey shadow paper. The background is the burlap plate and the tags I seen on Heathers blog, pine is here, it uses the Happy Spots paper.  It is very hard to see in the picture but I did use wink of stella on top of the hello, I actually did 3 coats. I hope everyone enjoys Papertrey's 8th Anniversary, I know I will!!!  Thanks to all the designers for all their inspiration, thanks to everyone that works for Papertrey!! Thanks for looking! Nancy

Papertrey Ink is having a #200 Make-it-Monday challenge!!! The challenge is layering cover plate die cuts by Dawn McVey. I used the cover plate heart die and stamp set. The bottom layer is designer paper from My Minds Eye, then vellum from Papertrey and the top is Raspberry Fizz, Berry Sorbet, Hibiscus Burst and Melon Berry inks blended with a splash of water. Hello,  Papertrey Ink is having a January Blog Hop and everyone is welcome to join in!  I made this for my sweetheart....my hubby.....my SUPERHERO!!!! I used Monthly Moments - February and Limitless Layers - Hearts.  The heart is sprinkled with glitter. Thanks for looking and enjoy the hop. Nancy
