Sparkly poinsettia
Good morning,
It is time for make it Monday over at Papertrey Inc. Our host today was Dawn McVey #43 ribbon pleating. I used the stamp set Christmas Poinsettia by Papertrey. I started with the leaf stamp and went around the outside of the card using old olive ink and stamping off every other one. In the middle I stamped the poinsettia using real red and cranberry crisp ink.
Here is a close up pleating the red ribbon.
At the end I finished up adding pearls, using smooches spritzer and topping it with glitter.
Have a great day!
Nancy

This is so pretty. I love how you made the leaf border.
ReplyDeleteLove the design! Love the colors!
ReplyDeleteNancy, this is beautiful! I love that border. ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's already been said. Wonderful colors and love that leaf border. (There has always been something about that poinsettia that has bothered me. This is definitely the PRETTIEST card I've seen using those stamps. I'm loving it in your hands.) And that border IS inspired!
ReplyDeleteVery unique idea, I love how it all goes together so nice!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Nancy! n The flower almost looks tissue paper ish. Wow, is just so pretty and detailed. Congrats on the shout out! Well deserved, hey isn't that 2 in a row.
ReplyDeleteLovely card. Your border of leaves is awesome. I like how you only pleated half of the card.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Nancy, I love the glittery effects. Congrats on your shout out.
ReplyDeleteWow, Nancy! Nichole was right. Beautiful stamping and the ribbon really sets it off.
