Papertrey blog hop, grown with love

Papertrey Inc.

Hello everyone,
Today's the day for Papertrey Inc. blog hop.  Above is the picture of our inspiration, pinks, cream, white, blues, greens, flowers, polka dots, strips and more if you look closer. On my card I choose to use cream, white, pinks, green and flowers.  I started with Mat stack #3 die, garden variety stamp set and die, the sentiment is from inside and out birthday.  There are 3 half doilies underneath the mat stack, ribbon, buttons, trim and glitter add the finishing touches.  This sweet paper is from My Mind's Eye.

Couldn't resist the close up.

Hope everyone enjoy the blog hop.  Have a great night!

Happy Wedding Day

I have been having some fun with my new order from Papertrey.  I can't seem to stop making cards, but you will see more of that in the next few days. Today's card I used the Anniversary set. I  cut around the frame and pretty peony, putting the peony on raised foam dots.  The mat stack #3 gives the frame a nice backdrop. I used the words from the happy day stamp set and the heart die.

Have a great day!

Make it Monday #61, creating flowers with leaf dies

Papertrey Ink. is having a Make it Monday challenge #61.  This challenge is creating flowers with leaf dies.  The die that I chose to use to make a flower is the limitless layers 1 3/4" die and love lives here die, a button and lots of glitter!!  The stamps are wrought iron background and inside and out birthday along with banner border and heart die.

Have a good night!

Make it Monday #60 - Generational Stamping

Hello hello,
Papertrey is having the Make it Monday challenge #60 called Generational stamping.  You can see the video here.  I choose to use the stamp set background basic Polka Dots I for the challenge in different colors.  I also used the new tag sale #6 with pattern paper and blue felt underneath the button on top of the tag. On top of the tag is a sweet little train from the stamp set called train tracks.  I know trains are usually for boys, but I could not resist putting the card on my daughter's pink fuzzy pillow and taking the picture ( along with the pink polka dots, smile :)

Have a great day!

Beautiful Blooms

Good morning,
I just love  it when I receive my package of Papertrey products, can't wait to start playing!  Although I received it right after the Papertrey blog hop, I haven't been able to play with them.  Finally I got some time. YAY!!  I have been admiring Melissa's flowers and I finally bought the beautiful blooms II die collection to make some, and I was not disappointed, they are beautiful!!  Also on this card I used the new tag sale #6 die, turning a new leaf, inside and out birthday sayings, background text I and the filigree die.  My extra goodies are felt, glitter, ribbon, lace, buttons and floss.  I stamped the turning a new leaf onto designer paper, then onto the tag sale #6 die and actually putting foam dots underneath to raise the tag.  You can see on two of the leaves that they run off the edge of the tag and onto the pattern paper.  I couldn't resist enlarging this beautiful flower.....
