Pretty Violets

 Hello!
These stamps are so much fun!  I love the garden variety and the year of the flower stamp set along with the new year of flower titles mini stamp set.  Oh I wish they would also do a vegetable stamp set and titles of them too.  I belong to a Garden Club and I am a Master Gardener, we could have so much fun with these stamps and the seed packet die!  We are having our plant sale in May and I hope to make something for that.  I better get busy its coming so fast.  On this card I chose the violets stamp to use out of the set and I love how the designer paper with the stamp and then colored with copic markers look so transparent. Again I used My Mind's Eye, Blush paper, I just love it and ordered two more packs. Well I hope you enjoyed my card. Oh, one more thing, is anyone interested in getting together, taking turns putting a card kit together sending it to everyone involved and making cards and blogging about them, say once a month? Suggestions or ideas please leave a comment.

Have a great night.

Nancy

  1. Love your violets seed packet - think I may not be able to resist the garden variety 2 set for much longer! Trying to participate in the MIM and blog hop is enough for me at the moment.

  2. So pretty. Love the script behind the flower. Love the daintiness of the doily. I am currently making a Mother's Day card using this set. Still debating about using lace or a doily.

  3. Nancy I did not know you were a Master Gardner. One of my close friends and my neighbor is a MG as well. Your card is beautiful. I love the way you stamped the flower over the script! I have to think about another group, my thing is time.

  5. What a sweet card. I have this set, and always struggle with ways to use it. Also, I have a black thumb, so that may be why. Good luck with your new group. I know you will have lots of fun.

  8. I love how you have mixed all the patterned papers and how you used this stamp set. You are managing to persuade me to put yet another stamp set on my wish list!
