Embossing enamel splatters #315 Make-it-Monday, Papertrey Ink

Happy Saturday to you all!  I am getting a little excited about spring coming, although I don't want it to go by too fast because I want to get a little more done in the house before heading out to my gardens. But no matter what the weather, its always a welcome if the sun is out:)!

I had a little time this morning to watch Melissa Phillips video on how to do Embossing Enamel Splatters.  This challenge is this weeks Papertrey Inks, Make-it-Monday #315.  I had a chance to use the balloon stencil with a variety of different inks. I sprinkled on the embossing enamel on each balloon and used the heat gun to melt the enamel from underneath each balloon.  The embossing enamel really bubbled up.  The sentiment is embossed and also raised up with foam tape. The finishing touch I used a few clear sequins.

Celebrate each day:)

  1. What a sweet card Nancy! Great thinking to heat the embossing powders from underneath. So clever and I love the way the dots of enamel look on your colorful balloons!
