KEEPING CHRISTMAS March 2019 Inspirational Blog Hop!!!

Good morning and welcome to the Keeping Christmas Inspirational Blog Hop!  Where you find wonderful ideas for Christmas cards and projects.  On the 25th of each month we will be sharing our Christmas creations.

Our host each month is Kelly Lunceford, the creator of Keeping Christmas.

This month I created a Christmas card box that contains 5 cards using Prima, Santa Baby paper and journaling cards.

I made the box using Betsy Veldman's Make-it-Market kit, A Fairy Tale Christmas.  In one of her videos for this kit she created a card box.  This box is large enough to hold cards and envelopes that are 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches in size.

On the outside of the cover I used the Santa Baby paper and Papertrey Ink's Big Basics: Merry Christmas die.  I used scarlet jewel cardstock, 2 layers and covered it with glossy accents.  The ribbon is also from Papertrey Ink.  I used weathervane cardstock for the base of my box.

I also decorated the inside with Santa Baby paper.

I made a total of 5 cards.  I did not put a lot of embellishments on them, in fear of them not fitting inside the box.  I used glitter and sequins and some glossy accents.  Check out the cards below.  I did a few close ups to show all that lovely glitter.

Inside each of the cards is a different saying.  All of the sentiments are from the stamp set Season's Greeting and the holly berries are from the Enclosed Bell mini stamp set.  On each of the cards I used weathervane cardstock as my base.

On the card below the holly berries are from Papertrey Ink, Enclosed Bell mini stamp and die set.

On the next card I die cut the word Christmas twice and glued both layers together. Using weathervane cardstock and the stamp and die set Jingle all the way by Papertrey Ink.

See how nicely all the cards and envelopes fit inside the box.
